The article discusses the history of studying of M. Yu. Lermontov in China, demonstrates the scientific achievements of the Chinese literary study of Lermontov in different periods, describes the evolution of the perception of creativity Lermontov Chinese researchers: from the critique of the politicalideological to the socio-historical and then to the cultural-aesthetic.
