摘要：
New polymers and modified natural polymers have emerged to meet the ever growing needs of macromolecules in biomedical and pharmaceutical applications. This paper describes approaches that have been recently employed towards modification of biologically active proteins, use of copolymerization as a technique to modulate the biological performance of absorbable polymers and new synthetic methods for polymeric drugs.
