摘要
The diffusion coefficient for sulfuric acid has been experimentally determined. The resulting value has been compared with one already reported in the literature and others obtained by applying three different theoretical methods to the existing conditions in a typical lead-acid cell. A noticeable difference between experimental and theoretical values has been found. This difference is attributed to special conditions in lead-acid batteries that improve diffusion and make the coefficient greater. © 1990, The Electrochemical Society, Inc. All rights reserved.
