We discuss the observation of Aharonov-Bohm oscillations in the magnetoresistance of a 1 mum GaAs/AlGaAs quantum dot. The oscillation period of 6 mT gives good agreement with the expected dimensions of the dot, implying Coulomb blockade effects to be insignificant in this case. The oscillations wash out at temperatures above 0.5 K, consistent with the expected energy spacing of the discrete states within the dot.
