A simple modification in the Meinhard nebulizer, Scott spray chamber system provided an efficient gas-liquid separator for the continuous introduction of metal hydrides into the ICP. This technique has been standardized for the determination of As, Sb, Se, Te, Sn, and Bi in water. Various experimental conditions such as sodium borohydride concentration, acid molarity, plasma power, and nebulizer gas flow rate were optimized for multielement determination.
