摘要
This paper is a critical, personal approach to A.R. Luria's book Cognitive Development: Its Cultural and Social Foundations. After reflecting on the significance of Vigotsky's socio-historical perspective in 1970's Spanish psychology, a fresh, critical reading of Luria's work is offered. Three topics are particularly focused on: 1) the relationship between Marxism and psychology; 2) the limits of cultural psychology; and 3) the role of language and languages within the framework of this psychological orientation. The paper concludes with an assertion of present-day interest and value of the socio-historical approach to psychology, irrespectively of the limits analyzed here.
