摘要
The metaflow architecture exploits inherent instruction-level parallelism in conventional sequential programs by hardware means, without relying on optimizing compilers. It executes instructions out of order and speculatively via DRIS, an integrated instruction-shelving structure. The first implementation of the architecture is Lightning, a superscalar Sparc processor.
