摘要
Results of experimental investigations on condensed matter compresibility under underground-explosion conditions are presented. The majority of measurements are of absolute character and cover the pressure range of 5-10 TPa for heavy materials, and 2 TPa for light materials. The following materials have been investigated: iron, lead, copper, cadmium, molibdenum, aluminium, as well as quartz, water, and plexiglas. In addition to solids, the measured results on compressibility are also presented for porous specimens such as iron, copper, tungsten, and quartz. The obtained data agree with the calculational Thomas-Fermi model containing a quantum and exchange correction factor and taking into account nuclear interaction. It has been shown that the adiabatic slope dD/dU in the region of superhigh pressures (for heavy materials under pressure above 1 TPa, and for light materials under pressures above 0.3 TPa) is 1.2. It was shown that the results are independent on experimental scale in the region of laboratory experiment pressure.
