The educational role of the parents and their influence on the achievement of the learning

摘要
The purpose of this study to determine the influence between the educational role of the parents and the achievement of the learning of the students of 4th secondary in the communications area of the E.I. "Padre Severino Deshaies". The study was not experimental - descriptive correlational, the sample was 22 parents and 33 students of the 4th secondary of the "Padre Severino Deshaies". The technique that was used for the collection of data was a survey for parents and the documentary review to obtain students' learning achievements, the instrument was the questionnaire and the data collection sheet and for the analysis of data using percentage, media and test t-student. On the educational role in "Padre Severino Deshaies" it was found that the total of parents polled 80.9 percent indiciaron who are always ready to support and participate in school activities that have to do with the personal and intellectual development of your child and on the achievement of learning was obtained that the total number of students the 48.6%, have a good level. With the results obtained, as well as the statistical evidence of student's t, where is obtained: T-T=3,143 and t(c) = 6,718, with a reliability of 99%, so that the be t(c) > t(t), it was accepted the hypotheses: There is significant influence of the educational role of the parents in the learning achievement of students in 4th grade of secondary school in the communications area of the Educational Institution "Padre Severino Deshaies".
