摘要
This paper describes the current status of surface acoustic wave (SAW) materials and devices which are being manufactured or are under study in Japanese industries. This information are obtained from 31 companies to which the author sent a questionnaire. SAW propagation characteristics such as Rayleigh wave and leaky wave are also briefly summarized.
