摘要
Concrete reinforcement corrosion causes a progress in the reduction of cross-sectional bars area carrying loads. Conducted research allows estimating the annual reduction in the range from 0.7% to 1.8% depending on the extent of dealkalization and concentration of harmful ions in concrete cover around the reinforcement. Particularly unfavorable is the contamination of the cover by chloride ions, that has concentration which significantly exceeds the established limits, as well as co-occurrence of chloride and sulfate ions in dealkalized concrete cover.
