摘要
The theory of atmospheric tides is derived from the meteorological primitive equations by means of a perturbation expansion in Rossby number. Separation of the system for the first order variables into the standard horizontal and vertical structure equations of tidal theory is effected. © 1969 Birkhäuser-Verlag.
