摘要
The philosophical practice of meditatio has very deep roots in the classical philosophical tradition (from the figure of Socrates and the teachings of Plato, up to the Stoic and Epicurean schools). In this article, we follow its traces right in the heart of the modern age, in the writings and life experiences of three great philosophers: Descartes, Pascal and Spinoza. On the one hand, we will confirm the solid link between two seasons of our philosophical tradition and, on the other hand, we will be able to draw interesting suggestions on a practice that is able to reveal something more about the meaning of philosophical practices.
