摘要：

Over the last decade, the management of funeral heritage has called the attention of local authorities, mainly as a way of efficiently dealing and preserving the identity of cemeteries. The aim of this article is to analyse the management model implemented in the cemetery of Ciriego in Santander. To do so, it will evaluate its effectiveness after more than ten years since it was set up in the frame of a master plan that aimed to protect both the general uses and the heritage properties of the cemetery.
