摘要
We have examined the two-phase flow of a gas with dispersed, nonspherical, rigid particles. We describe a model for the motion of a single ellipsoid in the fluid, including the degrees of freedom associated with translation, lift, orientation and angular velocity. We assume there is no interaction between the particles, and give the Liouville equation for the distribution function of the particles. A computer code has been developed to simulate the two-dimensional behavior of such a flow.
