摘要
Atomic N and O quench O-2((1)Delta(g)) with room temperature rate constants of 2.8 +/- 2.0 x 10(-15) and <= 1 3 x 10(-16)cm(3)molec(-1)sec(-1) respectlvely; NO cannot. therefore, be formed efficiently m the atmospheric D-region by reaction of N with O-2((1)Delta(g)).
