摘要
It is shown that the backbending phenomenon, known for more than 20 years in atomic nuclei spectroscopy at high angular momenta, is present in molecules as well. This phenomenon, due to the non-crossing of potential curves at large rotational velocities, can be described in terms of a perturbation model involving q-deformed rotors.
