Space intelligence is becoming one of the key elements of the Defence for arms control verification, crisis monitoring, operations planning and execution. This paper discusses the possible fulfillment of military intelligence needs by a space observation system. The advised solution is made up of visible, infrared and radar sensors, borne by a minimum of 3 judiciously phased satellites, and of a ground segment, supplied by powerful image interpretation means.
