摘要：

In a paper by Rice and White, the authors have considered the use of Lp-norms, p greater than or equal to 1, for the problem of smoothing and estimation. Their experimental method of investigation will here be used for a class of Lp-measures, defined for p less than or equal to infinite and p greater than or equal to minus infinite and applied to various distributions.
