摘要
Learning a foreign language has become more than necessary to interact and communicate with people from different backgrounds in our globalised and informatised society. Among the languages with a greater amount of learners, German highlights. However, writing in this language is the main challenge that learners face because of German fixed syntax, its conjugation patterns and its complex orthography and spelling rules; which might lead to error fossilisation. This paper suggests Task-based learning through written assignments in Virtual Learning Environments as a methodological approach that would let learners develop their skills in writing and, therefore, reach the learning outcomes set for each level
