摘要
A method suitable for the large-scale extraction and purification of Newcastle disease virus-specific IgG from the yolks of eggs laid by hens newly recovered from Newcastle disease is described. The immunoglobulin class of the final product was determined by immunodiffusion, immunoelectrophoresis and analytical ultracentrifugation. The IgG isolated was effective in conferring passive protection against challenge with Newcastle disease virus. © 1969.
