摘要：
The length of stomata rows on the upper surface of needles from short-shoots of European Larch was measured. The length of these rows is characteristic of the provenance, increasing with altitude and largely under genetic control. Thus, larch provenances, especially the lowland populations of Poland and the Sudetic Mts from the highland populations of the Alps and the Tatra mountains can bc distinguished.
