The cross section for e-gamma --> e-Z with arbitrary lepton and boson polarizations is calculated within the electroweak standard model, including the complete O(alpha) virtual and soft photonic bremsstrahlung corrections. The relevant analytical results are listed, and the influence of the electroweak radiative corrections is discussed for both polarized and unpolarized cross sections. The relative weak corrections are typically of the order of 10%. The dominating effects arise for right-handed electrons from the fermionic corrections, for left-handed electrons from loop diagrams involving non-abelian gauge couplings. In the case of polarized bosons there are additional large effects in the forward direction originating from the gammaZZ and gammagammaZ vertex corrections. The polarization asymmetry is considerably reduced by the weak radiative corrections.
