摘要
A model is examined for the flow of a three-phase mixture in a cylindrical channel with variable cross section in the presence of a phase transition in the liquid phase. The conversion of internal energy in the liquid to kinetic energy means that solid particles may be accelerated over a short distance to velocities exceeding the initial value by several orders of magnitude.
