摘要
I discuss some directions for evolving our data management services in the next years, using the experience in operating heavy-duty data storage services at CERN, notably for the Worldwide LHC Computing Grid (WLCG). These new developments are potentially useful beyond our community, wherever the success of a project depends on large computing resources and requires the active participation of a large and distributed collaborations.
