METHODOLOGY FOR THE ELABORATION OF THE STRATEGY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION AT THE POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY OF THE ARAGUA STATE "FEDERICO BRITO FIGUEROA"

The present research has as general objective to elaborate a methodology for the design of the strategy of Science and Technological Innovation in the Polytechnic University of the State of Aragua "Federico Brito Figueroa"(UPTA). It is a feasible project based on a field research that seeks to characterize the areas of Science and Technology in UPTA, since in the research carried out these are not articulated or directed towards specific and institutional purposes. In order to achieve this purpose, the theoretical foundations of the management of science and technological innovation inother universities were considered, which allowed the creation of the methodology, the definition of the objective, premises and a sequence of stages that began with the organization of the scientific process and policy, Then awareness raising and diagnosis, definition of problems, priorities and lines of research, formulation of strategies, implementation and finally monitoring and evaluation.
