摘要
The crystallisation heat treatment process was investigated and optimised for an antimony containing slag glass ceramic The appropriate heat treatment conditions were determined using the orthogonal design method and with the aid of differential thermal analysis. The optimised heat treatment temperatures and times were 840 degrees C and 2 h for nucleation and 1020 degrees C and 1 h for crystal growth. X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy were used to relate the crystallisation hear treatment details to the final assemblage of phases and microstructure of the material.
