摘要
Transverse optical bistability investigation review is presented. Aberration theory of the transverse optical bistability with counter-propagating light beam interaction is developed. The effect of aberration phenomena on switching thresholds is described and theoretical results are compared with experimental observations in alpha-SiC(6H) crystal.
