The substrates of a thought of "gender" in the texts of Maria Zambrano

This article analyzes how the texts of Maria Zambrano propose theoretical elements that can cross the concept of "gender". Certainly, the intellectual and theoretical foundations are clearly different; the thought of the philosopher does not consist in an anticipation of "gender studies". However, her texts contain innovative epistemological propositions. These proposals demonstrate, if needed, the relevance and modernity of a reflection that, together with others, has contributed to the emergence of fields of study where the concept of "gender" has resulted fully effective and fruitful.
