摘要
The redox conditions in aerobic and anaerobic equipment for converting plant material to humus are considered. These conditions are determined, in the aerobic region, by the partial pressure of atmospheric oxygen and, in the anaerobic region, by the activity of oxygen, which is specified by the basicity of the water-mineral supply to the organic system. Qualitative and quantitative criteria for the oxygen conditions are presented. Thermodynamic analysis of the redox conditions is undertaken, and the microcomposition is related to the basicity of the medium.
