DETERMINATION OF THE SUPERCONDUCTING GAP IN RBA2CU3O7-DELTA

摘要
The anomalous broadening of the B1g-like phonon of RBa2Cu3O7- observed in Raman scattering is studied as a function of phonon frequency by substituting various rare earths for R. The onset of broadening starts abruptly at a phonon energy which allows us to unambiguously determine a single, sharp superconducting gap at 2=316 cm-1. 2/kTc=4.95±0.10, i.e., RBa2Cu3O7-is a strong-coupling superconductor. We find qualitative and quantitative agreement with theory. © 1990 The American Physical Society.
