The increasing utilization of waste papers in board and paper manufacture is causing increased quantities of remainders. This leads to demands for techniques to ensure further use or disposal of these materials. Drying them is a most important step, it would open up a variety of possibilities, leading to a completion of the circle of use. The pulsation dryer is already an economic proposition depending on local conditions (a.o. size of installation and costs of dumping). Co-operation of the supplier of the drying plant and of its user served to ensure ways of utilizing the dried materials. The range of treatable wet materials can be enlarged if the dryer is installed with a second input mode.
