SOME TRIPHENYLPHOSPHINIMINE COMPLEXES OF ZINC, CADMIUM, MERCURY, RHODIUM AND PALLADIUM

摘要
The in situ alcoholysis of Ph3PNSiMe3 in the presence of anhydrous halides of zinc, cadmium and mercury results in the formation of a range of co-ordination complex of triphenylphosphinimine, Ph3PNH (L). The complexes formed were of three types: i) the trans dimers [(MX2L)2], ii) the cyclic dimers [(MX2L2)2]· (CHCl3)2 and iii) the polymeric (M2X2L3)n. Triphenylphosphinimine complexes of rhodium and palladium results from halogen bridge fission in [{PdCl(η-C3H5)}2] and [{Rh(CO)2Cl}2]. © 1979.
