摘要
1. 1. Procedures have been established for the quantitative assay of cathepsin D, acid ribonuclease, aryl sulfatase and β-glucuronidase in the white muscle of the goldfish. 2. 2. These acids hydrolases occur in partly latent and sedimentable form and are rendered soluble by treatments which liberate the enzymes from rat-liver lysosomes. 3. 3. Fractionation of total homogenates by differential centrifugation shows that the particulate enzymes have their greatest concentration in the light mitochondrial fraction. 4. 4. Fish muscle is shown to be quite favorable for the study of lysosome function in muscle tissue. © 1969.
