摘要
This article presents a stochastic model to simulate the behaviour of the wind speed in a horizontal direction. In addition, models are developed for both large and small scales of time. These models are obtained from a documentary research in the specialist literature. In the model for small time scales four components are considered: average, ramp, gust, and turbulence. The behavior of wind speed turbulence component was modeled including a random variable. The large time scale model is also shown. Such model is derived from certain considerations on the short time scale model. A discussion on turbulence intensity and phenomena length scales is presented. Finally, the model was validated through simulation in Matlab from a well documented case.
