摘要
The paper is devoted to a perturbation analysis of a differential equation which models a non-linear oscillator. The equation is solved as part of a boundary value problem, and non-uniformities other than the usual occurrence of secular terms in the obvious perturbation method are resolved by introducing singular expansions. The validity and accuracy of these are discussed in relation to numerical computations.
