摘要
We report four patients with anorexia nervosa who each had a significant weight gain when treated with naltrexone (an opioid antagonist) whilst inpatients in a general medical ward. The importance of opioids in the regulation of feeding behaviour is emphasised, and a possible mechanism of action of opiate antagonists in the treatment of eating disorders is suggested.
