摘要
12-O-Tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate (TPA), a potent tumor-promoting phorbol ester, stimulates histidine decarboxylase (HDC) activity in mouse mastocytoma P-815 cells. Activation of a transcriptional factor is believed to be involved in the effect of TPA. In vitro experiments indicated that TPA-induced HDC activation is caused by transcriptional activation of the HDC gene through the TPA-responsive element, TRE.
