摘要
Dichromate gelatin is one of the most promising recording materials for phase holograms because of the high efficiency and low noise obtainable. The general properties and requirements for thick phase holograms and how dichromate gelatin fulfills these requirements are discussed. Processing procedures for obtaining optimum results are presented. Interesting applications of this material are for lenses to perform multiple imaging and photocomposition.
