摘要
:
A novel, non-cantact magnetic torque sensor has been developed. The sensor has two magnetic drums on a torsion bar and a magnetic sensor with magnetoresistive elements. Two magnetic rotary encoders with sinusoidal output were fabricated from these components. The torque could be calculated from the torsion bar angle difference which was detected by the encoders. The torque sensors are expected to be widely used in factory automation equipment and automobiles. © 1990 IEEE
