摘要：

The world wide move to Quality Management is also occurring in the Australian Wool Industry. The international Quality Management Standards, collectively known as ISO 9000 (locally as AS 3900) are proposed as the vehicle for the widespread adoption of good Quality Management in the wool industry. An emphasis on quality will be a vehicle for change in the wool industry and help producers to focus on the needs of their real customers and allow wool to be treated as a product rather than as a commodity.
