摘要
Adsorption excess isotherms were determined on hydrophobic layer silicates in methanol-benzene mixtures. From these isotherms the displacement free energy DELTA-21G = f(x1) is derived which is characteristic of surface polarity. Displacement enthalpy isotherms were also determined by immersion microcalorimetry so that the entropy changes could be calculated. The molar displacement energy and adsorption capacity are calculated by a combination of enthalpy and free energy isotherms with adsorption excess isotherms.
