摘要
Novel monoterpene alcohols, l(7),4(8)-p-menthadien-2-yl acetate [6], trans-l(7)-p-menthen-2,8-diyl diacetate [9] and l-p-menthene-7,8-diyl diacetate [10], were obtained by the oxidation of 2(10)-pinene [1] with lead tetraacetate. trans-4(8)-p-Menthen-2-ol [12] and its cis-isomer [13] were obtained in equal amounts by hydrogenation of l(7),4(8)-p-menthadien-2-ol [6a]. l(7)-p-Menthene-2,8-diol [9a] was easily converted into 1(7),8-p-menthadien-2-ol [11]. © 1979, The Chemical Society of Japan.
