The reactions π++d→p+p and K-+d→Λ+n, Σo+n and Σ-+p are studied for low-energy pions and bound kaons in a phenomenological model. The mesons are assumed to be absorbed either directly by one nucleon, or by one-meson-exchange processes. © 1969.
