摘要
Chemically synthesized α‐amino acids are used to fortify foodstuffs and animal feeds. The drawbacks of former syntheses are avoided in the reaction sequence 1→2→3 which leads, e.g. to lysine in an overall yield of 52% (X  Cl, Br; R1  Me, Et; M  K, Na, Li) (Formula Presented.)
