摘要
This study intends to answer the following question: How can the student continue their history of utterances, to found themselves as subjects in their mother tongue, in new experiences of signification in language in the classroom at the University? In order to answer this question, we address the different domains in which the problem of signification is located within the theory of Emile Benveniste (1995; 1989) about language/langue/discourse to indicate the importance of considering the translinguistic domain in reading and writing activities at the University, in different courses, covering different fields of knowledge. This reflection enables us to theoretically support classroom activities, centered on language in use, to enable the student to continue their history of utterances and their experience of signification as subject in and through language.
