摘要：
The 4th European electric steel congress took place in Madrid on November 3 to 6, 1992 with more than 850 participants from 44 countries. 41 papers and 20 presentations in a poster session presented performances and outstanding studies (reduction of tap to tap time, scrap preheating, use of prereduced ore, energy savings) and assessed regulation, the direct current furnace and environmental problems.
