摘要
Tibial plateau fractures can be a difficult to manage for even the most skilled orthopaedic surgeons. The soft tissue envelope and degree of comminution, in conjunction with the complex anatomy of the proximal tibia, pose challenges to obtaining and maintaining reduction, and in turn, to good functional outcomes. In this chapter, we will discuss how to tackle the numerous obstacles one may encounter when surgically treating these fractures and provide tips on how to achieve the best possible outcomes.
