The Intersemiotic Translation in the Fiction Cinema

A theoretical model for the intersemiotic translation analysis is presented, which is especially useful in the semiotic systems study that is translated into the cinema (literature, theatre, architecture, music, philosophy, comics, etc.). This model is based on the Glossematic originally explored by Louis Hjelmslev, which proposes four semiotic levels: substance and form of expression, and form and substance of contents. The paper is focused on the argumentation that supports the model, and in the Appendix, it points out different analysis of cases that expand the outreach of this model and territories for exploration.
