Periodic lighting maintenance can provide more light per dollar. By combining better lighting maintenance with a number of commercially available products, energy usage can be reduced without a corresponding decrease in light levels. Two computer programs have been developed to help evaluate and manage a routine periodic lighting maintenance program. © 1979 Illuminating Engineering Society.
